The Youth Culture & Sports Commission meeting

Newly established Youth Culture & Sports Commission calls on local organisations to join CEPS.

The Youth Culture & Sports Commission met yesterday for its first meeting since the appointment of Mr Wavel Woodcock as its Commissioner.
At the meeting whci took place at the CEPS meeting room,key Office Bearers of the Commission were elected and they are:

Deputy Commissioner: Stephen Hoareau

Secretary – Mr. Adrian Nanty

Treasurer -Mrs. Adriana Auguste

At the meeting members were updated on current transition that CEPS is going through and the role of the Commission within the platform. The meeting was also an opportunity for the members to work on an action plan for the commission and shared on the planned activities for their respective organisations.

Mr Woodcock spoke of the need for the commission to engaging and encouraging other registered Youth, Culture and Sports CSOs, CBOs and NGOs to Join CEPS. The commission will therefore be undertaking a project whereby it will be reaching out to all organisations other than those registered with CEPS.
