Email spoofing is the creation of email messages with a forged sender address. Because the core email protocols do not have any mechanism for authentication, it is common for spam and phishing emails to use such spoofing to mislead the recipient about the origin of the message.
The email you have received is coming from a foreign server based in Asia, therefore it has no link to our email server. Over the past few hours, we have put applications in place to prevent future spoofing of the CEPS domain.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and confusion that this incident has caused.
