The Minister of Finance, Trade & The Blue Economy, Jean-Paul Adam spoke to CEPS Programmes & Events Manager Mr Michel Pierre and Vice Chairperson of CEPS, Mr Jude Fred, during his visit to the CEPS stall at the trade fare currently taking place on Praslin. Mr Pierre talked to the Minister about the possibility of creating an NGO trust funded along with other initiative whereby civil society organisations can benefit directly under the CRS tax. The idea is to build on mechanisms currently in existence, so that civil society organisations can increase their potential of benefiting from the CRS tax. The Minister has welcomed this idea and has invited CEPS to put forward a programme proposal.
