Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (CEPS) successfully hosted a Members Forum, bringing together representatives of civil society organisations for a constructive dialogue with officers from the Registration Division.
Discussions focused on several key issues affecting associations, including the implementation of the Associations Act, the issuance of Current standing Certificates, annual fees, and delays in responses to queries and requests submitted to the Registration Division.

Members openly shared the practical challenges they continue to face in complying with administrative requirements and highlighted the need for clearer communication, timely responses, and greater support throughout the compliance process. Several participants also expressed the view that the presence of the Deputy Registrar would have been beneficial in addressing some of the policy and operational concerns raised during the discussions.

The forum served as a valuable platform for dialogue between civil society organisations and the Registration Division, allowing members to voice their concerns and receive updates on ongoing regulatory matters.
CEPS remains committed to advocating on behalf of its members and fostering constructive engagement with relevant authorities to promote transparency, accountability, and an enabling environment for civil society organisations in Seychelles.
