Civil Society Organisations Strengthen Financial Management Skills through Three-Day Bookkeeping Training under the CEPF Project

Participants from civil society organisations and community groups are currently taking part in a three-day Bookkeeping Training organised under the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF) Project.

The training aims to strengthen participants’ practical bookkeeping and financial management skills, enabling organisations to improve accountability, transparency, and compliance in the management of project funds and organisational resources.

Throughout the sessions, participants are being introduced to essential bookkeeping principles, financial record-keeping practices, reporting requirements, and tools that support effective financial administration. These skills are critical to ensuring the sustainable implementation of projects and the responsible management of donor funding.

The training is being facilitated by Ms. Axell Bodwell, a young and dynamic facilitator whose practical experience and expertise are helping participants gain a better understanding of sound financial management practices.

This capacity-building initiative reflects CEPF’s commitment to supporting civil society organisations by strengthening institutional systems and enhancing the skills needed to deliver impactful and sustainable community-based projects.
