CIVIL SOCIETY CONSULTATION MEETING ON HARM REDUCTION
HASO in collaboration with the National AIDS Council and the Kenya AIDS NGO Consortium (KANCO) today conducted a one day workshop on Harm Reduction for 25 participants from various local organisations. The meeting took place at the CEPS Conference Room.
The workshop is part of the activities to be conducted by KANCO during their four day mission in Seychelles.
Seychelles is among seven other countries of Eastern Africa which will be benefitting from a 3 year Global Fund Regional project as a sub recipient, and HASO as an NGO has been chosen as the custodian of the project.
The project aims to increase access to essential HIV and Harm Reduction services for people who inject drugs in Eastern Africa.
During their visit the delegation from KANCO intends to discuss the various issues pertaining to monitoring and evaluation process, the reporting system and the financial component of the project.
