Representatives from the CEPS Secretariat were interviewed as part of the 30 minutes dedicated to civil society organisations (CSO) on Tuesdays, as part of the programme Lanbyans Tropikal on the Radyo Sesel. The interview with Marie-Claude D’Unienville was given by CEPS CEO Mr Steve Lalande, Project and events Manager Mr Michel Pierre and Communications & Membership Manager Ms Tessa Henderson. The interview was the opportunity for the CEO to explain the process oftransition that has taken place over the past few months since the 2014 November AGM, the current need for resource mobilisation and CEPS’ role as as a key player in national development. When talking of CEPS plan for the year, Mr Pierre informed listeners that a series of clinics are currently being scheduled with the platform’s accredited members as part of CEPS aim to work understand issues being faced by CSO’s and how CEPS can better work with them. The interview was also an opportunity for CEPS to announce the launching of its online membership registration which was first launched last week to all accredited members. Following the interview all organisation wishing to join the civil society platform can also become members by filling in the form available on www.ceps.sc, through the tab Register Today.
Through the intervew CEPS secretariat representatives spoke of CEPS interest to create more partnership and strengthen the relationships that currently exists with its members, other CSO and stakeholders.
