Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (CEPS) Announces Appointment of New CEO

VICTORIA, SEYCHELLES – June 15, 2025

 The Board of the Citizens Engagement Platform Seychelles (CEPS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Tessa Henderson as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2025.

Ms. Henderson is a highly accomplished communications and media professional with over two decades of experience. Her extensive background spans broadcasting, media policy development, civil society engagement, research, capacity building, and strategic leadership. She holds a Master’s Degree in Media Leadership from the University of Cumbria, UK, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media with a specialization in Radio Production from the University of Chester, UK.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Henderson is recognized for her profound dedication to civil society. She has been very active in various civil society organizations, volunteering her time and experiences to the greater needs of citizens. She has also previously served CEPS  as the Membership and Communication Manager. Her passion for giving back deeply aligns with CEPS’ core values and social impact goals.

In her new role, Ms. Henderson will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and stakeholder engagement of CEPS.

The Board is confident that Ms Henderson’s leadership will significantly contribute to CEPS’ mission of fostering greater citizen engagement and promoting positive social change in Seychelles.
